Studio pigment encapsulation vs. mass dye-sublimation
Commercial metal prints use 4-color dye-sublimation into thin epoxy coatings on aluminum, which compresses color ranges to CMYK and fades over time under UV exposure. My printing process allows your work to be crafted as fine-art pieces:
12-Color Fine-Art Giclée: Printed in the full Adobe RGB color space for deeper tonal transitions and wider color gamut than standard lab printing.
Archival Mineral Pigments: Utilizes lightfast mineral/metal-oxide pigment particles rather than delicate organic dyes, providing true long-term archival stability without fading.
Pearlescent Metallic Base Media: Printed onto specialized pearlescent metallic paper to maximize optical luminosity and shadow detail.
5 Mil Drytac UV Acrylic Shield: Over-laminated with a heavy 5 mil Drytac acrylic film containing UV-blocking agents that absorb 98% of UV-A and UV-B radiation. This thick protective barrier creates a distinct, tactile three dimensional optical depth while protecting the image for generations.
The studio & local advantage
The "Handmade" Fine-Art Upsell: Because these panels are hand-crafted locally, rather than in an automated commercial facility, you can offer your clients an authentic, hand-finished fine-art option.
All prints have a wood panel board with hangers, bumpers, and an easy to install hanger so your customers can enjoy their prints as soon as possible.
Zero Freight Risk & Fast Turnaround: Eliminate shipping costs, long transit delays, and the high rate of bent panel corners common with freight carriers.
Freedom from Legacy Frame Dimensions
Because these frameless metal panels float directly off the wall, you are no longer constrained by legacy pre-cut framing dimensions like 8 x 10, 11 x 14, or 16 x 20. Print your native 3:2, 4:3, square, or panoramic compositions without forcing an artificial crop on your artwork.
3:2 Ratio (DSLR / Full-Frame)
8 × 12 in (96 sq in) - $50
12 × 18 in (216 sq in) - $85
16 × 24 in (384 sq in) - $135
20 × 30 in (600 sq in) - $200
4:3 Ratio (Micro 4/3 / Medium Format)
9 × 12 in (108 sq in) - $55
12 × 16 in (192 sq in) - $80
15 × 20 in (300 sq in) - $110
18 × 24 in (432 sq in) - $150
Custom Dimensions, Squares & Panoramas
Any non-standard dimension, custom crop, square (12 x 12, 20 x 20, 24 x 24), or panorama (10 x 30, 15 x 30) is calculated using a standard studio area formula: $20 + ($0.30 x Width x Height)
